The School Board of Highlands County and Champion for Children Foundation will host the
5th Annual Champion for Children Youth Awards on March 7, 2024
to highlight and celebrate our local youth for their service to others, strong character, positive behavior, and meaningful impact.

Champion for Children Youth Award Criteria
• A current student in Highlands County, Florida (K-12 public, private, or home education).
• Demonstrates a sincere, caring desire to help others.
• Has taken action to address a problem or need.
• Has positively impacted an individual, group, or community.
Nominations may be submitted at any time for the 2024 Youth Awards.
