What’s going down? Nothing! The Champion for Children’s Circle Theatre Marquee is going UP and we are so excited. The beautifully designed marquee by James R. Hahn Productions’ is being installed by the E. O. Koch crew and will be complete by Monday, July 1st! Take a drive around the circle to see the amazing progress.

Champion for Children & Drug Free Highlands, their fight against Prescription Pill Abuse
The Champion for Children Foundation decided to join Drug Free Highlands in the fight against Prescription Pill Abuse. On Friday, May 18th, Kevin Roberts, CCF executive director joined Amanda John, Drug Free Highlands coordinator, for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Jeff Roth, director of The Children’s Advocacy Center brought the idea to Mr. Roberts who quickly understood why having permanent drop boxes in Highlands County was something that The Foundation should support. The ribbon cutting marked the establishment of 3 permanent drop boxes in each of the Highlands County Police Departments where citizens will be able to drop off their unused and expired pills.
